The Girl Next Door

I just watched a movie on TV: "The girl next door"

Its one of the most disturbing movies I have seen, I wont be able to sit through it a second time. Quite well crafted, with good characterizations and real emotions played on by some good performances, which is perhaps overshadowed by the fact that the proceedings are so disturbing.

To imagine that it was based on real life events is even more painful. I shudder to think how a movie made on the Nithari issue would shape up.

In the end, it turns the fine line between innocence and guilt and intimidation of adults, specially in issues of sex and violence, into something so tangible taken to its worst.

What happens when you face the reality and it becomes a reason for your justification for manipulation? People die, and those alive remain scarred.

I dont recommend this movie at all to those who can be pushed easily.

3 Idiots

Saw 3 Idiots.

Just sounds more like Amir Khan version of Mohobbatein with current set of vogue trends and film making style.

As a view point there is nothing to argue, except maybe note that the actual meanings of what was conveyed was grossly underexplored, but as a piece of art it makes you feel that something about comedies is dead, and often feel good can be misunderstood to be comdey. Which is actually a tragedy.

But heck, what works is always good, what dosen't is always a lesson.
