Just sounds more like Amir Khan version of Mohobbatein with current set of vogue trends and film making style.
As a view point there is nothing to argue, except maybe note that the actual meanings of what was conveyed was grossly underexplored, but as a piece of art it makes you feel that something about comedies is dead, and often feel good can be misunderstood to be comdey. Which is actually a tragedy.
But heck, what works is always good, what dosen't is always a lesson.

Art is the method of invoking a view point. A view point looking at the source of art - reality - and re-interpreting it by giving the artists experience a vent through a form to establish a function and a story board. Reality is a source but above art.
